The RainEx systems offer rainwater recovery technologies for buildingupgrades and new construction. Recycled water can be used for flushing fixtures and/or landscape irrigation, providing valuable LEEDs points and aiding in Green Building certification. With an increasing demand for clean water and a decreasing supply of accessible water sources, many traditional sources for fresh water are becoming increasingly impractical (wells, desalination, etc.). Harvesting rainwater (or storm water) can provide a valuable new source for non-potable water. In buildings requiring or hoping to obtain LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification, this water recovery can result in valuable points necessary to achieve that goal.
